What they're used for those low loads of different types, but most of us only use a few because the others are a bit superfluous. Then, I'll teach you different types of hemming, a blind hem, and a rolled hem.

I went to MaryAnne’s classes having not made an item of clothing for myself in over 45 years. I could make items for the home but had no confidence about how to make clothes, read a pattern or where to start.
MaryAnne was very patient and taught me as we went along making my first garment. Not only was she building my confidence she was constantly giving me tips and hints on how to improve the overall finish of the items.
Her knowledge and experience makes her a brilliant seamstress and I was fortunate to sign up with her for lessons and learn from her. Are your customers raving about you on social media? Share their great stories to help turn potential customers into loyal ones.

Thank you MaryAnn for your patience.
I am a newbie and my sewing machine has been in the back of a cupboard since I bought it.
Today I learnt some good basic skills, enough to get me started on my own.
I will be back sometime for one of your courses once I have a project on the go.
If you are new to sewing and have not yet got a machine, get some advice from MaryAnn before you buy.
No longer afraid of my sewing machine thanks to Mary Ann’s Beginners sewing machine lesson. Learned a lot in the three hours and met some lovely people – bonus! A friendly and relaxed atmosphere awaits you. Thank you so much !

Would you like to make bunting, it’s an easy project for a beginner! Ideal to hang in a child's bedroom (but keep it out of reach, or you may like to make it for the garden so that you can have a barbecue with bunting and lights that make your garden look even better. If you start making your bunting you will have plenty of time to finish it before BBQ season!
I even make bunting with pockets in it to hold sweets. And with these, I put each pocket also has a number on it. And I use it a bit like an advent calendar. So, thinking well ahead for Christmas.
How about making Advent bunting? There's not many people do it make it! I take a maximum of 6 people for a 2-hour session for £30 per person on 7pm-9pm 22nd November. So again, lots of individual help. And you can ask me other questions about sewing as well.
It's fun to have a go at this and learn new techniques. You can make pictures or abstract designs. It's a great way to use scraps of fabric. There's a maximum of six people for this class. £30 person for a 2-hour session on 7pm-9pm 7th June.
It's easier to do if on your sewing machine when you can drop the feed dogs, but if not, there are other ways around it. Most of the newer machines you can drop the feed dogs and then you can move the fabric in any direction.
To do the free motion embroidery, you're using the needle as if it was a pencil or a paintbrush and moving that round and that makes your design. You can use it to add different fabrics on there or just use the stitching itself. To make your design and it's great fun.
I run sewing classes for people who need flexibility in their lives! Do you have childcare issues/work odd shifts but would still like to come to sewing classes? You buy 4x2hr block of classes (£80) then use them as your schedule allows.
If you have any questions regarding my sewing classes, please get in touch with me so we can talk about it.
