Sewing Seams Easy is an sewing club dedicated to making fabulous clothes and soft furnishings in a friendly environment. There are plenty of new things on the horizon! Starting on the 9th March there will be a new evening sewing club meeting in Tring. It will be suitable for complete beginners up to intermediate sewers.  Get in touch and reserve your place it is for people who work during the day or perhaps don’t have any childcare available in the day, maybe Dad will babysit for a couple of hours on a Monday evening!
The picture is of a little cape which I made for my sister to wear over a strappy party dress for her birthday,
(not the jumper I’ve got on!)

Even more exciting I am building an ‘online membership club’!! It will be called ‘Mary Anne’s Online sewing Bee,’ only I won’t be booting anyone out each week!!

If you have always wanted to be able to sew or haven’t sewn for ages, this is the place for you! You want to sew but don’t have time or energy to go to regular classes, your sewing has to be fitted around a busy family life, work and other commitments.

Get access to monthly sewing projects with videos, written instructions and a live monthly webinar where you can ask questions about the sewing projects. There is also a private facebook group so you can post pictures of your projects, ask questions and chat with the other members. but still have the help and companionship of a normal class. I will be in the group regularly to help and give guidance.

Which is prompting me to do a new class ‘Upcycling like a Pro’ well are you interested? It will be on Sat 28th March 9am-12pm £45 there will be more details on the web site (just need to update it)

Beginners Sewing Machine Skills

Have you started to use that sewing machine you got for Christmas or birthday yet? Learn how to use it in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. You will learn the basics of using a sewing machine;- how to thread a machine, wind a bobbin, select different stitches, sew simple seams. You’ll make samples during the course to take home with you to remind you of what you have learned. This workshop will give you the confidence to set up your sewing machine at home and start stitching.

Bring your own sewing machine and manual (if you don’t have the manual download it from the internet and print it off) also a notebook and pen. Join our sell-out workshops I’ve already taken a couple of bookings for this class, so if you want to come book asap or places will have gone!
