Inspired by the Sewing Bee, bought a sewing machine that is still in it’s box? Took it out looked at the manual, then put it straight back again? Learn how to use it in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. You will learn the basics of using a sewing machine;- how to thread a machine, wind a bobbin, select different stitches, sew simple seams. You’ll make samples during the course to take home with you to remind you of what you have learned, bring your sewing machine (if you don’t have a machine yet let me know & I’ll bring one for you to use) pen & paper. This workshop will give you the confidence to set up your sewing machine at home and start stitching.

It can be a really simple envelope that just wraps round and has no fastenings or we can go for zip fastening, button and buttonholes. Maybe have piping round the edge, the choice is yours.
